Listening to Obama’s inauguration speech today, I couldn’t help but visualize the change and optimism in his words. Thanks to Wordle, I’ve created a “cloud of hope” from the text to mark this historic occasion.
Also, I just went out to whitehouse.gov and was immeasurably moved by the new “Change Has Come to America” banner with Obama’s face. What an amazing sight!

Conversed with several folks who made it to DC for the events. All sounded quite enchanted. To quote one of them: “It was incredible. The joy & hope & love in the air were very real–thousands & thousands & thousands of people smiling, being kind to one another, sharing the energy of the shift. A memory of a lifetime!”
Well said! I can’t remember a moment when so many people around the world came together to share a positive wish for our collective future. That is truly a gift.
