Studio's artful design and innovate 360 branding achievements are honored
LOS ANGELES, CA—September 12, 2007—Fahrenheit Studio, a new media design and 21st century branding firm, today announced the winning of four design awards, adding to the studios overall excellence in the industry. The Horizon Interactive Awards, a prestigious international competition recognizing outstanding achievement among interactive media producers from all over the world, honored Fahrenheit with two bronze awards for their web design of AxissAudio.com and for the musical entertainment website, Virgin Records (www.virginrecords.com). The studio also received two Summit Creative Awards; a silver award winner for the design of Virgin Records' website and a bronze award winner for designing and revamping JossStone.com for the popular British soul singer and songwriter.
The 2007 Horizon Interactive Award competition (www.horizoninteractiveawards.com) saw nearly 1000 entries from all over the world including nearly all 50 States and many other countries including: Australia, Canada, Chech Republic, Columbia, Croatia, Germany, Egypt, Spain, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, South Africa, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, and Taiwan. Judges looked for the best blend between creativity and functionality. Each entry was judged for the following criteria: solution creativity and originality, overall graphic design / appearance / user experience, communication of message, technical merit and effectiveness of solution.
"Every artist likes to be acknowledged for their hard work and receiving these awards from such prestigious critics is greatly appreciated and reconfirms Fahrenheit Studios' commitment to excellent design, artwork and providing an engaging and beautiful user experience, which is the backbone to all of our projects," says Fahrenheit co-founder and director Dylan Tran.
The Summit Creative Awards (www.summitawards.com) recognizes and celebrates the creative accomplishments of small and medium sized advertising agencies and other creative groups with annual billings of $25 million or less. Over the last decade, the competition has established itself as the premier arbiter of creative excellence for firms of this size. Judges made their evaluations based on innovation and creative concepts, strong executions and the ability to communicate and persuade.
"As the web becomes more and more crowded, being distinct and creative will become more important," says Fahrenheit co-founder and director Robert Weitz. "If you want to stand out from the crowd, you need great design and great production and we're honored to win awards for both of these aims."
The studio has also worked on projects for artists such as The Rolling Stones, Korn, Ben Harper and KT Tunstall, delivering distinctive high quality sites.
